Description
What is Mission-Unknown about?
Mission-Unknown is a browsergame in wich you create your own species with unique abilities. You get a planet and build up a running economy to push science. Your actions have an effect onto the whole economy in the universe. Create prototypes out of free choosable components or stick to huge space stations to show the power of your nation - or recruit whole armies to conquer enemy planets at whole.
Use the new and innovative warsystem to win battles even against armies that outnumber your own. Upgrade your old ships and evolve them so that they stay state-of-the-art for several weeks. But remember: The ressources of your planet are limited! Begin to colonize new planets in time to expand your terretory and to strength your economy because your fleet wants to be maintained and the crews want to be paid.
Trade with other players to increase your economic power. Research new technologies to create unique ships, wich can be reselled for a vot of money to other players.
Build a network of Hypergates or use gates created by others to cover long distances in little time.
Use your Fleet to protect you transports against pirates or become a pirat yourself, raid other transports and take whatever you want without asking first ;)
If you prefer the latter you can be a pirat right up from the beginning - but this is an extreme tough task because it requires a high level of activity on the one hand and much experience ind luck on the other. You have to be awre of other players who wants to stop your business. (Not yet implemented - its an alpha, guys!)
With science you multiply the possibilities in economy and war. Keep researching continuesly and concentrate on some technologies so noone else can outrange you.
Because of Mission-Unknown being a browsergame all you need is an compatible Internet Browser (IE7+, FF2+, O8+). The most important thing is: All is for FREE :D
